# Hero Section

Paragraph provides 13 Hero section options.

**Paragraph** offers a variety of hero section options that can suit your website's needs and aesthetics. Each option is available with either a colored background or an image background. Below are the options you can choose from:

1. **Text Options**:
   * **Text (Colored background)**
   * **Text (Image background)**
2. **Text with Subscribe Options**:
   * **Text with subscribe (Colored background)**
   * **Text with subscribe (Image background)**
3. **Text with Author Options**:
   * **Text with author (Colored background)**
   * **Text with author (Image background)**
4. **Text with Author and Subscribe Options:**
   * **Text with author and subscribe (Colored background)**
   * **Text with author and subscribe (Image background)**
5. **Featured Posts Slider Options:**
   * **Featured posts slider with letter (Colored background) (shows 3 latest featured posts)**
   * **Featured posts slider with letter (Image background) (shows 3 latest featured posts)**
   * **Featured posts slider with date (Colored background) (shows 3 latest featured posts)**
   * **Featured posts slider with date (Image background) (shows 3 latest featured posts)**
6. **No Hero Section:**
   * **None**

Choose your preferred option and customize your hero section to enhance your website's visual appeal and functionality.

### **To choose a Hero Section option:**

* Access the **Settings > Design & branding** from the admin menu
* Click **Homepage** in the **Design** settings sidebar on the right
* Click and select your preferred option in the **Hero section type** menu item

### To add Text to your Hero Section:

* Access the **Settings > Design & branding** from the admin menu
* Click **Homepage** in the **Design** settings sidebar on the right
* Enter the main text into **Hero text** input
* Optionally, add the subtext into **Hero subtext** input

### To add the Hero Section Background Image:

* Access the **Settings > Design & branding** from the admin menu
* Click **Brand** in the **Design** settings sidebar on the right
* Click **Upload** **cover** in the **Publication cover** menu item
